BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1982, Sahar Salahshoor is a civil engineer graduate. She started cinema as an assistant director in 1999 and continued her activities until 2001. In 2002, she made her first documentary “Silhouette”. In 2004 she attended a workshop of documentary filmmaking held by Vision Du Reel Film Festival in Switzerland. In 2005, she passed a course of documentary filmmaking organized by the Association of Iranian Documentary Producers. In 2006, she was accepted for a course of documentary filmmaking in Femis Superior School of Filmmaking in France. In 2007, she attended the BBC World Service Trust where she made “Behind the Wheel of Life”.
